The primary objective of the APAC-Alabama, Inc.. internship program is to provide interns with an opportunity to participate in all aspects of construction management that are typically encountered in the construction workplace. An internship with our Construction Division provides an overall understanding of the different managerial processes regarding construction contract administration at both the construction site and at the construction office. An internship at one of our Quarries or Asphalt plants provides an understanding of all aspects of running such an operation.
Participants of APAC-Alabama, Inc.’s Internship Program enjoy interesting work assignments at one of our facilities located in either Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, Georgia or Tennessee. Interns gain exposure to real world projects and daily work tasks in a challenging and often fun environment. Experience can include Estimating, Quality Control Lab and Project Management, including hands-on work in the field.
An internship with APAC-Alabama, Inc., Inc. can be a valuable stepping stone on the path to a successful career in engineering or construction associated fields.
Summer internships run from the beginning of June to the end of August, with some flexibility for varying college schedules.
